DNF at page 145. This book reads slow and the characters are not very likeable. The promos suggested it was like “Gilmore girls meets practical magic”. Not only is not anything like either, but it’s clearly trying too hard. The attempts at magic and witty banter were painful to read. Maybe this would be enjoyable for someone else who doesn’t love GG/ Practical Magic, but it definitely doesn’t hold up.
