This wasn't so much a romance, though it has romantic elements, as a journey to self-discovery. The book is in desperate need of rigorous editing, and the plot and dialogue meander along, making it difficult to really follow what's going on. I didn't understand some of the choices the MC makes, and never really got a real picture of Tom.
