Pretty insufferable. Ashbery without the music or insight. Self-loathing disingenuously. Like a business bro in loafers infatuated with Nietzsche. I would have felt smart reading this during the W. years as an undergraduate. Thank God I have grown, unfortunately this book, not so much.
