Hahaha I’m guessing yes, however since it’s written by her under her post-war married name I think that’s more of a spoiler ;D
Surprise surprise, she survived the war (obviously) but died in late 2011 of pancreatic cancer before the book was published in 2012 by the original university press (thus the afterword was written by another person).
Crazy to think of the stories our lives have overlapped with.
