It’s starting to make me furious and also full of admiration at the way the author gets you to think about what fate really is, and where our free will lies, with each and every character’s story, getting more complex as each child’s life unfolds. The fortune freed Simon, but drove Klara and Daniel mad. How will Varya live?

Enraptured. Enamored. Absolutely adore everything this book is. Simon’s story is so heart-wrenching, and I can’t wait to get to the rest of this amazing tale.
