Eeeily similar structure to Real
Housewives of Beverly Hills or similar reality tv shows wherein the entire series (or in this case book) is about characters going from one social event to the other and getting into he-said, she-said conundrums. In reality tv the aftermath plays out in fights, in this book it plays out in people’s introspections.
I get it was revolutionary in 1920 but doesn’t bite in 2023.
