Excellent read. Sandy, a Cree woman, who was part of the sixties scoop was adopted by a Ukrainian family. Sandy is a journalist involved with a Métis man who works as law enforcement. As she starts researching mmiwg’s she starts to discover her voice and attachment to her roots. Carol Daniels who has since changed her name to Carol Rose Goldeneagle is a brilliant story teller. Worth the read.
