The only brainy beefcakes I enjoy are on screen. In books, I don't mind them, as long as they don't have stupid names like "Secret"! (What kinda name is that, I ask ya! Yeesh!)

But your trust in Beka and the fact that I DO read retellings tilt me towards the yes side. How far away is your review? I have bookmarked the ARC page for now, quite optimistically. ;)

I'll try to have it up in two days, so maybe by Thursday. I'll try and finish it as soon as possible because I got an ARC for my most anticipated book of the year yesterday that I'm dying to sink my teeth into.

Thank you so much for not telling me what tale it is! I do enjoy it when I can't tell what tale it is, honest to goodness. 😄 It's like a puzzle to solve. I have my guesses already, and I'm likely going to miss the barn with my shot, but it's still fun.

Ooh! Looks like I am missing many updates. Thursday is good. I still have many anthologies to go before I can get to this, but at least I'll grab it on time if it gets upvoted by you.
