I just finished Purrfect Murder (The Mysteries of Max Book 1). A cat, his human and their compatriots work together to solve a murder, although the real detective would rather they would wouldn’t. The characters, especially the cats and Grandma kept me laughing while trying to figure out the smelly murder, and I do mean literally smelly. I could almost smell it myself, yuck. It’s worth reading
