I feel sorry for Santiago but he’s lucky to have to young boy. The rowing early in the morning reminds me of the young man and the sea. Today in thee shower I remembered a book about hockey I read as a kid and how they lived in a hotel and were fed all these amazing meals and the book read through the games and I was really into it.

The fight with the fish was written extremely well. I could feel Santiago’s exhaustion and all the fishing terms were recognizable thanks to reading moby dick.
