I feel like it really depends! This book is definitely written towards a very niche audience, so if you don’t like it/find it interesting its because this book didn’t find you at the right time. It’s written for (I’d say) young students passionate about honing their literary analysis skills, so if you’ve read all the Shakespeare plays and Greek tragedies (etc) that works are often referencing, I don’t think you’ll really need it. But I’ve been enjoying it so far so try it out if you have time :)
