This plot is ridiculous. Ella has a undetectable untraceable way to communicate with her mother, but never makes use of it. A plot that can be solved by two people having a conversation, isn’t a plot. Like for instance, she could tell her mother she is in a plane and not at the estate. Or she could just listen to her mom’s messages and know they are safe. That solves everything. I’m exasperated beyond belief.

Yep, just can’t stop reading these books.
