The world building through time travel isn’t something I expected from my little pony. Didn’t expect the literal lord of chaos to have a cat as an ex either.

Also the comics have done merponies so many times already, wondering if the movie took inspo from the comics with the hippocampi and talking cats.
(Just looked up stuff and there r multiple depictions of seaponies, mermares, kelpies, and sirens in mlp canon
