Wow! I though I was near the left end of the political spectrum. Graeber just moved it a few spots.

carol. haha! Which way?!

Hank Graeber's spot just made me closer to the middle. Here I was thinking I was at the edge of the world and an island shows up in the distance. Although I am also thinking I should make more sense in these updates

carol. I resonated with that. It kind of shows who we surround ourselves, perhaps, or our microcosms. I thought I was a leftie and then realized reading Graeber's Bullshit Jobs: A Theory that I'm not quite as radical as I thought (I struggle with the idea of universal income, for instance). Its just that the scale had to extend so far to the right, it kind of silenced the other positions.

Hank I really enjoyed Bullshit Jobs, I having a hard time engaging with this one. Lots of talk about what exactly debt is in a commumity, whith lots and lots and lots of examples. Not sure where it is going.
