Ugh, dystopian doom and gloom. This one seems destined for my abandoned book shelf. After coming off of the high from Michael J Sullivan’s Esrahaddon, I don’t think I can do this. When a Tim Gerard Reynolds narration can’t salvage it, I think it’s just not for me. Normally I’d invest a lot more time before deciding to quit a book but after checking out the reviews, I see I’m not alone in this negative reaction.
