OH FUCK THIS!! honestly. I spent the first 100 pages absolutely HATING the book and just powering through to understand how the fuck could people like this, and then on page 100 we get a glimpse of her and Orion actually having a civil interaction… and immediately i get it. 🙄

upon subsequent reflection i have decided that i don’t actually hate the book, i just find El absolutely annoying and dislike her entirely… which i guess is kind of the point with her character, so good job kinda?
