I thought this was a horror book but now I’m thinking it’s more of a “hey, stop and think about this, how does it make you feel?” and that’s not what I wanted. I don’t wanna think, I wanna be horrified.

I’ve heard nothing but how disturbing this book is but so far I’m just kinda… bored? This may be a case of over-hyping a book in my head. We’ll see.
