At chapter 51, and heavily regretting not dnfing this at 100 or so pages. Now i have to finish it.
This book's a slog, and when something is about to happen, the chapter ends, and the story does a time jump. When the timeline resumes, the writer pulls a false alarm card.
I'm honestly amazed at the editor for letting this out of the drafts.
