I think this (or something like it) was the collection I started but couldn't finish. Got through 2.5 novels. Not for me, is all. Curious to see what you think.

ronald firbank is one of the greatest to ever do it imo. completely unjustly (mostly) forgotten these days

I’m only a little over halfway through The Flower Beneath The Foot at the moment, but I’m really enjoying it so far. The prose style is over the top in the best way, and it’s making me chuckle quite a bit. We’ll see how I do with the other 4 novels in here, but so far this first one is a winner for me.
