I wouldn’t have picked up this book if it wasn’t a gift. I superficially thought it was going to tell me to work ridiculous hours in order to earn a sense of accomplishment. It wasn’t that kind of girl boss book. I really liked the author’s honesty and awareness of her privilege too. I’m not sure I agree with everything Sheryl says, but her points are open-minded and thought-provoking 🥰
