I hate it I hate it I hate it. I'm gonna finish it, but I hate it.
The father is the most annoyingly frustrating character I've ever read. The daughter's POV is painful to get through. I'm feeling gaslit the entire time I'm reading this. Also a sex scene from a child's narrative standpoint is a really creepy, offputting and weird decision on the author's part. It did not need to be included and feels predator-y.
