I simultaneously don’t quite understand why I’m reading this and don’t really mind at all. Can’t relate to any of the characters and the breezy way the conversations move from light to heavy topics without transition gives me whiplash. I’m fascinated though… I think to myself ‘what is motivating this author to record these fictitious and directionless conversations? What’s he trying to achieve?’
