lowkey expected the events of polyphemus’s island to happen the same way as in the show and then remembered it was different in the book. still love it though

so apparently i can read over 115 pages during a train ride and that gives me back my spark for reading. guess i know what to do next time i hit a reading drought

still completely wrapped up in the story. so much so that i didn’t see time fly during the train ride

okay, as much as i love the pjo movies because i’ve watched those first before i read the books for the first time, the movies have nothing to do with the books, and the sea of monsters is reminding me of that 🫢 i just hope the show will be more faithful to the books, but i trust rick will not disappoint

preparing myself for percy jackson and the chalice of the gods by rereading the whole series again
