Yet another book where people are being chased by a murderer and the "good guys" have missed a half dozen opportunities to take him out. They literally smacked him in the face with a skillet and knocked him down and he still fought off 4 people (with skillets and bats and, you know, feet) and got away. You knock him down and you finish the job!
