First chapter in (after the prologue) and we find out that the MMC has been kidnapped with an ear cut off for ransom??? Ummmm, I was under the impression this was a hockey romance... can we get to the hockey now? I did not sign up for a dark romance today. Please and thank you. (I'm giving it 5 chapters to decide on whether to continue or DNF.)
