The story of chuang tzu fishing then being offered a position in government by the prince reminds me of a similar story of Diogenes and Alexander the great. Basically the same woth a teist of Alexander wishing to be Diogenes if he wasn't Alexander Diogenes saying "i'd also rather be me, now get the fuck out of my sunlight."
