So far I am greatly enjoying this book. It has the makings of a wonderful beginning of a series. The author does go a tad overboard with the alterations to reality in order to create Lady Trent's world. While I appreciate a whole new world to escape into when reading-few authors have the skill to pull off what J.K. Rowling did for Potter. However, many try to do so and 'overcook' the book.
