3 stars. So disappointing. This is a 250-page book - unnecessarily SWOLEN to 715 pages. The author seems to trying to meld a family's story into a medical mystery - and doing both a disservice. It is so broad - and spans so long a time- that no character is given its due and at the end - well it's so hard to care.
