oh my GODS THIS BOOK IS SO FREAKING BEAUTIFUL. its like… when i read it the air is heavy and i have to CONCENTRATE. bc every line has such deep meaning. but like skdjjdjfnclalajska I CANT EVEN EXPRESS HOW THIS MAKES ME FEEL.
and the author, (this was written in the 50s and is technically dystopian) predicts a bunch of stuff that, like, HAPPENS. like people think books are bad and are addicted to tv.

this book is beautiful. i'm still a little confused about the world it's set in. but its beautiful. it's so thought provoking, so beautifully written, so engrossing. its set in a world where firemen dont prevent fires, they cause them. and all they burn is books.

this really makes me think deeply about multiple facets of life and appreciate how free we are to read what we want.
