If you make me read over 200+ pages of chopped and schlopped together jargon you better provide me some answers. So many times I wanted to mark this as a
DNF bc I had faith it would make a comeback but god the multiverse theory/hint is such a cheap throw.

This book has so much going and feels less like a thriller and more on the tiptoes of horror. Also feels icky bc it feels like a novel just about a psychotic white man and white privilege which is very dark

So deep into the book and we’re finally getting answers. Lots of rambling and scenes that feel very triggering (that scene with Thad and Jonah felt set up like it was about to be a r*pe scene) which makes me wonder what kind goal you have or what kind of person you have to be to pack a book with so much darkness. Interesting

Wait okay this is getting interesting idk how I feel about a white man broaching the topic of racism and having racist characters ( a lil too on the nose ) but the plot is getting good, will say the writing is giving me a migraine from how choppy it is

Wow this character and family SUCKS not sure if I’m gonna be able to power through and read this. I also have learned to never trust a man who writes about a woman
