What I love about adding a time travel element to a story is there are no rules. There is no one way of doing time travel. But at the same time, a good time traveling plot has its logistics/physics/characteristics worked out. They don't have to follow any rules, but they should be worked out beforehand. This time traveling plot is winning big time.
