I had forgotten how much I could enjoy nonfiction. I love history. Learned quite a bit. The book brings up things I had never considered. It really made me think. I do think it overly romanticizes the period at times. Overall though. I enjoyed the book quite a bit.

I had forgotten how much I could enjoy reading nonfiction. Although to be fair it does seem a bit romanticized to the point of being almost fiction in spots. It's a fun read for those who enjoy history as I do.
