Had to take a break to recognize how fulfilling reading this book feels. The Gift of Strawberries is reminding me of when I have out persimmons for free. Gifting abundance has allowed for recognizing community and bonds that I have with people. Being in a capitalistic society, I question why I want to do things for others without payment, rather reciprocity and community; this chapter is reaffirming my existence
