Okay, this has definitely picked up. By the time they're actually in the walls looking for puppet critters, the story starts moving faster.

Omg it legitimately took this doofus 5 whole chapters to go inspect the wall to figure out how the puppet just dis-the-fuck-appeared into it! And at this point he's spent 4 chapters envisioning a creepy puppet encounter, and with no real pay-off yet!

This is a deliciously creepy mystery and so far I'm loving it! I've never been so excited at the possibility of puppets ripping someone limb from limb in my whole life! After the first chapter I have 0 answers and a TON of questions, like where did dude's grandpa go? Do the puppets want to escape, bc the one broke that mirror and tried to jump through it? Why are there creepy (possibly murderous) puppets???
