I’ve never liked Connor or Lanny, but I hate them more every book. Those two have zero survival instincts. I don’t know why RC originally wrote them like this or why Carrie Ryan didn’t fix it in this book (I’m sure it has something to do with respecting the authors vision) but right now all I can think about is how nice it’d be for Gwen and Sam to drop them off on the side of the road and wish them the best of luck.
