Jack Reynolds’s Reviews > Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign, Vol. 27 > Status Update
Jack Reynolds
is finished
That decision Yu made at the end there has more layers than we think it does at the moment. There are sinister intentions with Guren's plan (why would all of our leads' name be written on the ground in a similar fashion to the incident that led to the in series apocalypse?), but getting more insight into Sika Madu helps branch this scheme out.
I'll do an updated review on Vol. 28 once I read it. Currently caught up.

Yu forgiving Guren easily for years of trauma seems a little sus to me, but the parallel of the group he assembled vs. his own group of friends is interesting. Now that Yu gave him the permission to trust them as much as they’ve trusted him (whether Guren’s deserved it or not at times, who knows), the group has continued to expand.
Makoto being absent doesn’t feel like much of a loss, either, which is weird.
