i can’t believe i didn’t update as i was reading but read this summer, really really loved it, amazing exploration of the sublime and really exciting commentary on morality and beauty as a corrupting force. i also really liked really vivid exploration of olfactory senses since it’s something i relate to quite specifically. also the inherent ability for humanity to identify an other (good or bad) very cool!
