Okay seriously idk why but this is THE BEST of all these shoujo mangas i have read with like tsundere-ish heroines (maidsama, cheeky brat etc). It is definitely more trope-y than horimiya and that's why I'm comparing it to all the trashy shoujo but I'm probably enjoying it more than horimiya in its later volumes. Idk if it's cuz it's actually better or if cuz horimiya had quality decline

Like it just mix and match of tropes but i haven't really rolled my eyes at any point so the tropes don't get TOO MUCH. Or maybe the characters work so well that tropes don't matter. Every icky trope even if present is met with so much awareness by the characters so it's not unbearable
