the main couple’s cute in this one. i’m glad i pushed through the first book.
the dialogues are still pretty awkward, but i got used to them by now. something that still bothers me is the mix of UK/US expressions.
also, i’m really enjoying rory and hendrix’s angry bickering and am a little disappointed they won’t end up together. it would have made for a great slowburn frenemies-to-lovers. oh well.
