Fantastic to read a book that’s scary/shocking enough to get you (the hand cutting cliffhanger!) but you can read it at night happily bc none of the actual fears (🔥) are your own.
Otoh it means I got way too little sleep last night bc I was busy reading haha.

Also love that this is apparently set in the same neighborhood(ish) as KJ Charles’ Romney Marsh books? I was Google mapping locations mentioned to more accurately visualize the spooky remote landscape and was like - hey! I’ve done this before!
