this book is spinning into place, i say spinning because its not settling, its never calm or "chill". every single word means something, which adds a level of exhaustion to reading this book, but its worth it. Emily St. John Mandel is a genius. she incorpirated past character from her other books (station eleven , the glass hotel) and herself as the chracter Olive Llewellyn.

already into the third section, there are three stories being told. one of which took me by suprise; the storied life of Mirella. a friend of a woman named vincent who died. but vincent was in "the glass hotel"! im excited to see how the two books tie together in the end (if they do)
