With the latest Exorcist sequel, I heard a joke they should do Exorcist in Space just like they did with the Jason movies. Well, here Milligan does pretty much exactly that. Exorcist in 2999 in some dystopian world-hopping anti-religious society, imagine the Empire from Star Wars.
