Gia, the statue, murdered what I believe is one the priests of the city. She is trying to get revenge on the man that took advantage of her and turned the city into stone thousands of years ago. The now statues are keeping out monsters, but she doesn’t really know / understand that yet. Milo just woke up after working all night to the dead body.
