Oh my word, the slow burn with a kindness that's amazing. I love smut free reads that give you the actual relationship coming together. A relationship that turns hate into love. A man who is strong and a warrior who lives to protect his family , yet is still gentle and caring when he sees a broken soul. I also love the Idea of the beast being a version of a person who grew up abused believing lies about herself.

Omg I can not say more honestly or clearly that a retold fairy tale has gripped me like this one. The pain the MFC is going thru of feeling ostracized and broken because of the abuse she's going through and the MMC wanting to do the right thing for his family and his country while also staying true to his parents legacy is utter Gold. Toss in fairies a fancy library and a magical garden and I'm super happy.
