I don't think anything has happened since my last progress update even though I finished another quarter of the book. I don't know for sure that there is a plot, or even an idea. I do know about all the different whales that Ishmael knows about. And I learned what the term gam means. I'm not sure I'll get much more out of this book. I'm going to take a break.

Chapter 32 cetology. An interesting though comical scientific account of cetology. I'm not sure I'd ever seen the word until this chapter, if I had it would have been an elementary school and I'm guessing the science would have been a little bit more accurate. However I am American, so there's a chance that 1850s knowledge might have been as good of a lesson as I got in elementary school.
