Oh, stories that linger in the mind. :) I also never read those in order (short story collections). I pick a short story to start with by choosing the title that I find most appealing. Unless, it is a buddy read.

These stories are very fine. Elusive in ways. They are gently told yet hold real truths about often hard lives.
