This one is just plain "off." The art is inferior to the previous volume, and the writing is...incongruous. One moment the Viking characters are speaking like people from their time and place, and the next they're speaking like people from an episode of "Law & Order."

"Perp"? Really? *sigh*

*sigh* So it turns out in the end that this volume had a great story, one deep and meaningful and psychological and tragic... But it's all buried underneath terrible art, muddled storytelling, and jarring incidences of ENTIRELY MODERN languages and concepts being thrown about by medieval Norse & Irish characters. Such a shame.
