Finally! The author succeeds in including many of the senses. Somewhat repetitive in their choice of words. I particularly like the typical Swedish home environment and family situation. The main character seemed unhappy even before the big crash happened. Im interested to find out where the book will take both me and Agnes.

Why did I allow myself to be deceived? Because I wasn't happy. But it's still not one's wrong when two people quarrel. Im done backing and now I put in the first gear. Great line to end with!

And now the circle is full, when she helps her sister to communicate with her husband as well. So sweet. I love it.

Such a sweet turnaround for this character. And now they promise to communicate no matter what. "I don't want to get stuck in my own silence." Now that's a great quote!

She seems unable to upset anyone at all. Her friends is just so very forgiving. Regarding anything and everything.

Thank you for not writing the whole sex scene... But why can't you describe the necklace in details? Telling me that it's new doesn't give me an image of it. A new necklace is way to general for me to picture.

Love her way of raising her children. She eats breakfast with them on weekdays even if kindergarden serves that to. She talks to them about their feelings about the divorce. How dare Oskar argue that the divorce was a mutual decision?! It was all him who chose to leave.

Her conservative view vs this very liberal thing happening to her, it's very interesting to read about. The comparison between these two. Quotes: "Why didn't I made sure it was different?" & "I didn't put three children into the world only to divorce later."

I like that it doesn't glorify divorce, as opposed to so many other things in society right now. Yes, the main character moves forward with her life but that is because she is forced to and not because she chose it herself. This is a honest book about the true pain, hurt and betrayal behind being dumped. True quote: "Time doesn't heal every wound but maybe some." And… The Laundry Hag, really? Haha!

I guess it's rare to find a book who don't repeat itself. Stroking cheeks, bare feet and big meals continues to appear in this one. I like Agnes relationship with her children and her own parents, how they help her all they can and is there for her so that she don't have to go through the pain totally alone. More books about loving families to the people!

Love how it's so typical Swedish. I think she drinks tea in almost every chapter. Also love that even if the parents are divorcing their children still respect them. That's good and needed in today's society. I have no sympathy at all for Oscar and his "feelings" and selfish decisions.
