Louis is like that guy who goes back into a pawnshop to redeem his item on the last possible day, just so he can see the look of crushing disappointment on the pawnbroker's face, and it is glorious.

Ah, Montlhery...one sometimes forget that this lover of terrible fashion and practical jokes, who would rather talk than fight (and could talk his way out of just about anything), could actually fight when forced to it.

Nobles did not submit gracefully to this new world; they sent tales of horrible novelties to the royal court, where they were readily listened to.
