Jayson
Jayson is on page 77 of 160

Notes:
(1) This volume starts off very different.
- Greg Capullo's art looks like his art style, he's no longer strictly imitating Todd McFarlane.
- It's not nearly as text-heavy as it has been, so it reads faster.
(2) The child abuse issue has very heavy-handed messaging. It also feels out of place here.
(3) More bad guys named after NHL players: Mats Sundin, Doug Gilmour.

Notes:
(1) The KKK issue reminds me of Pearl Jam's "Do the Evolution" music video, which McFarlane did the art/animation for.
- I don't know if Todd's the right person to be tackling sensitive social issues. He's got the subtlety of a sledgehammer on a thumbtack.
(2) Spawn seemingly solves all problems by death or blackmail.
- He's like the Santa of incriminating documents.

Notes:
(1) Flipping through this, it doesn't seem to have any multi-part stories. They're all standalones.
- That'll be interesting. Depending on the extent of any continuing threads, this might read like an anthology; I may have to review it as such.
(2) Also, this has the most bare-bones creative team since it was just McFarlane on his own.
- I appreciate the consistency.
